After signing to Cooking Vinyl, in good company with the likes of Kate Miller-Heidke, Billy Bragg and Parkway Drive, Melbourne rapper Ivan Ooze has wasted no time getting down to business. Ooze made his Cooking Vinyl debut with the single ‘Deserve’ off his forthcoming album, set for release later this year.
‘Deserve’ sees the rapper showcasing a refined sound, collaborating with Kingswood guitarist Alex Laska for the track. Ooze has made his mark on industry heavyweights with his efforts already, joining Wu Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah in the studio on the track ‘Bills’.
In addition to jumping onto a new label and releasing a single, Ooze has also announced a national tour, giving regional fans a chance to catch him in Bendigo, Ballarat, Newcastle and Canberra next month.
