Dramatic and genre-defining. The Islay Trio presents the Third of Beethoven’s Opus 1 piano trios followed by Anton Arensky’s melancholic Piano Trio no. 1 in a feast of vibrant colour and flare. Also featured is ‘Souvenir’ – a piece written by the trio’s own cellist, Daniel Chiou, composed in 2020.
