The countdown is on for Iron and Wine’s new album Kiss Each Other Clean, all set for release January 21 2011.
For the first time in over three years, Iron and Wine – aka Sam Beam – has put together a brand new studio album with an enticing blend of rock, country, and folk, with African and Jamaican persuasions.
Sam has described Kiss Each Other Clean as a “more focused pop record…with straight up jazz, blues and African elements.” It follows on the heels of The Shepherd’s Dog, his 2007 album which offered a sense of completion with it’s soft sound.
