Irish soul man Maverick Sabre brings his genre-bending sound to Australia

Words by staff writer

Maverick Sabre has announced a three-date Australian tour hitting Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

Irish singer-songwriter Maverick Sabre is bringing his soulful, genre-hopping sound to Australian shores next February for a trio of intimate shows. Known for blending blues, folk, country, and hip hop into something uniquely his own, the artist has spent over a decade crafting music that hits close to the heart while drawing inspiration from everyone from The Stone Roses to Tupac.

Maverick Sabre’s journey began in the Irish hip hop scene as a teenager, where he quickly gained recognition as both an MC and producer. His sound has evolved into a distinctive fusion that’s caught the attention of collaborators including Jorja Smith, Joey Bada$$, and Australia’s own Hilltop Hoods on their platinum single Won’t Let You Down and gold-certified Live and Let Go.
