Known as one of the quintessential bands of the early 2000s New York indie music scene, Interpol will bring their magnetic stage presence and atmospheric back catalogue to devoted fans. With acclaimed alt-anthems from albums like Turn On The Bright Lights, Antics, and El Pintor, fans can also look forward to hearing tracks from their latest studio album, The Other Side of Make-Believe, performed live for the first time in Australia.

Joining Interpol on this tour is UK’s acclaimed indie-rock force, Bloc Party, who will be gracing Australian stages for the first time since 2018. With their genre-bending catalogue of hailed gems from albums like Silent Alarm, A Weekend In The City, and Intimacy, as well as their recent release, Alpha Games, Bloc Party is set to electrify audiences.

The collaboration between Interpol and Bloc Party is a dream come true, with the shows combining the distinctive sounds and stage presence of two legendary acts. “The histories of Bloc Party and Interpol are intertwined at various stages of our careers,” says Kele Okereke of Bloc Party. “It made perfect sense to us to solidify that by playing some massive shows together in one of our favourite countries on earth. We can’t wait to get back to Australia in November.”

Catch them in Melbourne on November 16. Grab tickets by heading here.
