The band, considered a foundational pillar of the Y2K New York indie rock scene, is currently riding the wave of the indie sleaze revival. Their latest album, Cool It Down, will be at the forefront of their tour, showcasing their evolution while still throwing back to genre-defining hits like Maps and Heads Will Roll.

This eight-track collection is a testament to their musical genius, expertly distilling their best gifts and compelling listeners to move, cry and listen closely.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ journey has been a dynamic one, with a hiatus between albums that they never expected to be so long. However, they certainly kept busy during that time. Karen O released an album with Danger Mouse titled Lux Prima in 2019 and co-composed the score for the animated film Where Is Anne Frank?

Meanwhile, Nick Zinner, the band’s guitarist, embarked on various creative endeavors, including an album with his hardcore side-project Head Wound City and collaborations with acclaimed artists such as Phoebe Bridgers, Amen Dunes, and Songhoy Blues. Drummer Brian Chase even started his own record label, Chaiken Records. In addition, both Karen and Brian embraced parenthood in recent years, adding another dimension to their personal and creative lives.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs are widely regarded as one of the best live bands in the world, captivating audiences with their sparkling hooks and high-energy performances. Their music possesses an alchemical quality, a transformative magic that resonates deeply with fans.
