Headlining the night is Yuwi-based indie powerhouse Tia Gostelow. Known for her vibrant pop sound, Tia’s music is a reflection of personal growth, with themes of self-discovery running through her work.

From her early breakthrough at 16 with the Triple J Unearthed High Indigenous Initiative to her evolution into an award-winning artist, Tia’s journey is a testament to her fearless approach to songwriting. Her catchy, soulful pop hits are perfect for fans of danceable, introspective music.

Joining her is Mika James, fresh from behind the drum kit of Melbourne punk band The Vovos. Now stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist, Mika’s sound blends cinematic country with punk-infused blues.

Her live performances, shaped by her raw musical landscapes, are known for their unpredictability and emotional intensity. Influenced by the likes of Weyes Blood and Sharon Van Etten, Mika’s music brings together folk and punk in a way that defies easy categorization.

Also on the bill is Ellis King, a rising star whose emotionally charged, indie-pop songs are already drawing attention from critics and fans alike. Inspired by artists like Phoebe Bridgers and Holly Humberstone, Ellis’s lyrics are sharp and introspective, touching on themes of heartbreak, growth, and resilience. With a powerful voice and a knack for crafting deeply personal songs, Ellis King is one to watch.

On Monday nights at the NSC, Social Sanctuary is a celebration of diverse Australian talent. This event is 18+ and will be held on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri People, to whom we pay our respects. Come down to NSC for an unforgettable night of music, community and good vibes!
