Cat Power, the celebrated indie rock artist known for her haunting vocals and emotive songwriting, is set to perform an unforgettable concert at Festival Hall in Melbourne on Thursday, March 6, 2025.

The show will feature a rendition of Bob Dylan’s iconic 1966 Royal Albert Hall concert set, almost 59 years to the day since the original performance.

Bob Dylan’s 1966 concert at Festival Hall was a pivotal moment in music history, marking his controversial switch from acoustic to electric guitar (at least temporarily). This performance sparked passionate reactions from folk purists and significantly influenced the course of rock ‘n’ roll. Cat Power, known for her ability to inhabit each song with conviction and grace, will honour this legendary event with her own unique interpretation.
