Credited to famed Italian composer Gioachino Rossini, Lyric Opera’s production of Il Signor Bruschino will present the action in English, as well as giving the show a contemporary update.
The one-act comedy follows the love story of Florville and Sofia, who attempt to dupe their old folks in order to get hitched. Starring in this rendition are Shanul Sharma (Florville) and Rebecca Rashleigh (Sofia).
