Iconic synth-pop legends New Order are set to make their return to Australia in March 2025, performing some of their biggest hits across the country.

New Order, known for their influence in the post-punk and electronic music scenes, will perform in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney.

This will be New Order’s first Australian tour since 2020, when they were forced to cancel a Melbourne show due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In March 2025, they will be taking over some of Australia’s most beloved venues, transforming them into synth-pop wonderlands.

A fan presale will run from Monday 28 October at 11am local time, closing on Thursday 31 October at 9am local time. General tickets will be available from 10am local time on Thursday 31 October through TEG Live.

Reflecting on their upcoming tour, New Order expressed their excitement, saying they’ve “always loved playing in Australia” and are thrilled to be able to return for this series of special shows. They also noted the significance of returning after having to cancel their 2020 Melbourne show, calling it “an honour to be coming back.”

New Order has built a lasting legacy since emerging from the ashes of the iconic band Joy Division. Over four decades, they have released 10 albums, sold over 3.5 million records worldwide, and influenced countless artists. Last year, they celebrated the 40th anniversary of their hit Blue Monday, reissuing their classic compilation Substance 1987, which remains their biggest-selling album to date.

Having first toured Australia in 1982 following the release of their debut album, Movement, New Order has maintained a strong relationship with Australian fans. In 2025, audiences will once again have the chance to hear timeless tracks such as Blue Monday, Temptation, and Bizarre Love Triangle live.
