Icelandic blues-rock band Kaleo will return to Australia in February 2025 as part of their Payback Tour, presented by Frontier Touring.
The band will play three East Coast shows with support from special guest Chance Peña. Kaleo, hailing from Reykjavík, Iceland, consists of JJ Julius Son (vocals, guitar, piano), Rubin Pollock (lead guitar), Daniel Kristjansson (bass), and David Antonsson (drums).
Known for their breakthrough 2016 album A/B, featuring tracks like Way Down We Go, All The Pretty Girls, No Good, and I Can’t Go On Without You, the band quickly rose to prominence, earning a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Performance. Their 2021 album Surface Sounds continued to showcase their signature blues-rock sound with singles such as I Want More and Break My Baby.

Joining Kaleo on the Brisbane and Melbourne dates will be US singer-songwriter Chance Peña, whose debut album Ever-Shifting, Continual Blossoming has garnered significant acclaim. Peña, known for his traditional storytelling style infused with modern influences, boasts over 13 million monthly Spotify listeners.
