‘I hate e-scooters’: Daniel Connell launches a national tour

Words by Staff Writer

Following a sold-out Melbourne International Comedy Festival season, Aussie stand-up Daniel Connell launches a national tour with his hit new show, I'm Always Sore.

The show promises to be jam packed with jokes delivered in Connell’s laid-back, observational style. Daniel Connell could easily be described as the ideal Aussie comedian; affable, loveable and hilarious. His observational, dry, often unanticipated comedy has seen him take to stages all over Australia.

Festival favourite, Daniel has been invited to performance on the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Oxfam Gala three times (ABC Television) and has also graced the stage of the Palais Theatre St Kilda for the Opening Night Allstars Gala.

Daniel has recently signed a management deal with one of Australia’s busiest and most successful comedy management agencies, A-List Entertainment, which sees him join the talent roster of fellow comedians such as Carl Barron, Kitty Flanagan, Arj Barker, Jimeoin and Steph Tisdell.

So, Daniel what is this show about? “I’m Always Sore is a mixture of observations about my current life situation and weird things I’ve seen and heard. My son is keeping me on my toes, so he gets a little mention, I hate E-Scooters so that gets a mention.”
