St Kilda native Hugo Race has unveiled plans to host a number of intimate performances at Alliance Francaise in December.

Race, alongside collaborator Michaelangelo Russo, has performed a massive 70 gigs worldwide in the past year. His most recent record with Russo, John Lee Hooker’s World Today, was released in 2017 and featured an intriguing experimental bluesy sound.

The former Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds band member has ventured on a huge number of projects throughout his musical career, including the 2018 release for LP Bu Bir Ruya as part of eclectic trio Dirtmusic.
