With his track Take Me To Church launching his deep voice into the spotlight last year, Hozier has locked in a Sydney sideshow while he’s down under for Bluesfest 2015. He delivers a blues-meets-gospel style with a literary bent – he says he was influenced by “writers such as James Joyce and Oscar Wilde”, in addition to greats like Pink Floyd, Nina Simone and Tom Waits.
