Here Comes The Sun is expanding to three massive events across Australia in 2026 with World Surf League backing.
Australia’s most progressive music festival is levelling up in a major way, partnering with World Surf League (WSL) to present three epic events alongside WSL’s Australian Championship Tour in 2026. Here Comes The Sun has always been synonymous with surf culture, so this collaboration makes perfect sense.
Kicking off at Torquay Common on 4 April during the Rip Curl Pro presented by Bonsoy weekend, Here Comes The Sun then heads back to its spiritual home at 3 Oceans in Margaret River on 25 April for the Western Australia Margaret River Pro weekend, before wrapping things up at Queen Elizabeth Park on the Gold Coast on 2 May during the Bonsoy Gold Coast Pro weekend.

Festival director Ross Macpherson says WSL had been watching Here Comes The Sun’s events in Margaret River for years, particularly after the festival expanded to Torquay in 2024. Music events align with WSL’s goals for 2026 and beyond, making Here Comes The Sun a natural partnership given its deep connection with surfing and coastal communities.
Despite the expansion, the festival isn’t compromising on comfort and safety. Expect plenty of space, solid facilities, and a carefully curated selection of food, drink and artisan vendors alongside the top-shelf lineup.
Sydney sibling duo Lime Cordiale headline proceedings, bringing their pop-powerhouse energy to all three shows.
Brisbane’s The Jungle Giants deliver effortlessly cool indie rock across four albums worth of festival-ready bangers. Heavy hitters like Used To Be In Love, Heavy Hearted and She’s A Riot have cemented their reputation for electrifying live shows that perfectly complement an Aussie sunshine day.
DJ and producer Young Franco joins the party fresh from releasing debut album It’s Franky Baby, squeezing these Australian dates between a sold-out UK tour and North American shows. Expect beats, basslines and melodies in abundance.
Sycco brings serious credentials after dropping debut album Zorb in 2025, adding to a discography spanning three EPs and over 20 singles. With AIR, APRA, ARIA and National Indigenous Music Award nominations under her belt, plus Q Song Awards and a 2025 J Award for Australian Album Of The Year, her set promises to be unmissable.
Gold Coast indie rockers Eliza & The Delusionals continue their 10-year journey, built around Eliza Klatt’s stunning vocals and the band’s ability to shift from whisper-quiet to bombastic in moments. Their 2024 sophomore album Make It Feel Like The Garden showcases exactly why they’ve earned a massive worldwide fanbase and prestigious award nominations.
Teen singer-songwriter Mariae Cassandra rounds out the announced lineup with millions of plays already racked up. Late-2025 single Maybe It All Works Out In The End showcases her joyous pop sensibilities and ageless lyrical wisdom, positioning her as a strong contender for breakthrough artist of 2026.
With more artists still to be announced and the WSL partnership locked in, Macpherson says the festival is excited to expand into new territories with even more planned for 2027.
