Gypsy King Jones serves up growling rhythmic blues that range from dirty and dangerous to sweet and sexy and occasionally hilarious. His groove-based music is deeply influenced by the Delta, Hill Country, and New Orleans scenes blended with an Australian swagger creating a sound of his own. GKJ is stoked to be playing at Bodriggy’s and will be delivering the goods with two sets including original tunes alongside eclectic covers from the greats!
Support comes from Nana’s Mojito, who pay tribute to the great artists of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s by taking their music and creating a fresh, unique and classy sound. They grew up on our parent’s music and really love delving into the simple complexity that blues has to offer. Bringing you hits by Ray Charles, Etta James and John Mayer just to make a few.
