Two of Detroit’s finest: Guilty Simpson and Phat Kat. They’re coming to tour together in Australia.
They’re…. massive. Physically and musically. Heavyweights. Guilty Simpson is one of the most creative MCs of his generation, with lyrics randing from street-inspired tales to side-splitting humour. With a star-studded collaboration list, he was introduced to the amazing Stones Throw records by J-Dilla.
Fellow Motor City rapper Phat Kat (Ronnie Cash) joins him. Hi ’90s career in 1st Down featured him on vocals and Jay Dee on production, and since then he’s only grown bigger. His new album Katakombz is set for release in 2011 and his Aussie shows will feature new material.
