WORDS BY STAFF WRITER

GTM is back across six sensational stops, including a fresh and exciting location in NSW.

It’s back baby! Groovin the Moo (GTM) has announced its much-anticipated return with an epic lineup of dates and venues for 2024.

It’s time to round up the crew, secure that annual leave, and start crafting your festival wardrobe because GTM is gearing up to hit the road in April and May 2024. The festivities kick off on Thursday 25 April in Wayville, SA, paying special tribute to our ANZACs. The party then moves on to Canberra, ACT, on Friday 26 April, followed by a weekend rendezvous in the charming Bendigo, VIC, on Saturday 27 April.

GTM will also venture to a brand-new waterfront haven in Foreshore Park, Newcastle, NSW, on Saturday 4 May. The Sunshine Coast, QLD, gets its groove on with a long weekend bonus on Sunday 5 May, this time at the spacious and central Sunshine Coast Stadium Precinct. The final stop takes us to the west coast, bringing the Bunbury fun in WA on Saturday 11 May.

For years, GTM has called Maitland Showground home in NSW, but after careful consideration of valuable patron feedback, the festival is making a move to a more accessible location with ample parking and accommodation options. The chosen spot is none other than the picturesque Foreshore Park in Newcastle, offering a stunning backdrop for the festival.

A GTM spokesperson expressed their excitement, stating, “We’re really excited to be putting on a festival in Foreshore Park. Whilst Maitland has played a major part in the history of GTM, Newcastle’s transport and accomodation options will provide a better experience for our patrons. Foreshore Park is a stunning location and we look forward to calling it home.”
