Including songs such as ‘Red Dirt Earth’, ‘When January Comes’, ‘Kick’ and ‘Come Undone’, Real Love in Real Life tracks the emotions of entering into a relationship – from the insecurity of an uncertain crush to the excitement of a blossoming relationship to longevity, security and commitment.
“Making my second album through a pandemic was hard to plan,” Greta said on creating the album. “Rather than spending 2-3 weeks straight in a studio and nailing it out in one go, I did a day or two here and there whenever I could. This gave us time to really sit with the songs and feel very confident about each one before moving onto the next. I’m proud to have a finished record that I got to create with not only my friends and fellow locals of Far North Queensland, but people I really admire and trust in this industry.”
Tickets are now on sale to Greta Stanley’s show at the Northcote Social Club on July 30. Grab them by heading here.
