To celebrate the NGV’s major Dior exhibition, their latest Friday Nights program will see a selection of hand-picked artists fill the gallery with world-class sounds.
Kicking things off will be Lupa J before Kate Miller-Heidke, Claudio, Shonen Knife and GL close out September. It’s then up to Alta, Electric Fields, Nite Jewel, JOY., Airling and Laetitia Sadier Source Ensemble to close things out.
The House of Dior: Seventy Years of Haute Couture will bring together 140 of the greatest designs in the history of fashion. Showcasing works of founder Christian Dior, the exhibition also traces the company’s history and designs through the work of Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferre, John Galliano, Raf Simons and Maria Grazia-Chiuri.
