Get ready: The Melbourne International Comedy Festival kicks off next month

Get ready to laugh out loud at this year's Comedy Festival with a huge program of over 600 shows across 140 performance spaces.

Calling all comedy friends and fans – the Melbourne International Comedy Festival is set to take over the city from March 29 to April 23 this year. Setting the town ablaze for nearly a month of hilarious shows from international performers and homegrown Aussie favourites alike.

With the likes of Daniel Sloss, Urzilla Carlson, Phil Wang, Lano and Woodley, Arj Barker, Wil Anderson and more – it’s going to be massive. This year’s festival will also see the return of festival staples RAW Comedy, Deadly Funny and Class Clowns.

There’s set to be a huge line-up of locals, big names and Festival first-timers including Anne Edmonds, Cal Wilson, Claire Hooper, Circus Oz, Daniel Connell, David Quirk, Dilruk Jayasinha, Gabbi Bolt, Georgie Carroll, Geraldine Hickey, Kitty Flanagan, Ivan Aristeguieta, Lano & Woodley, Luke Heggie, Lizzy Hoo, Mel Buttle, Michael Hing, Michelle Brasier, Nikki Britton, Rhys Nicholson, Reuben Kaye, Sam Campbell, Tommy Little, Tripod, Urvi Majumdar, Wil Anderson and more.
