Peace, love, dreadlocks and boomboxes… I think we’re getting off topic here. Wait, nope, it’s Michael Franti, all relevant. Regardless Michael Franti is taller than you’d expect of a man of his height. He is moderately tattooed and for ALWAYS SMILING.
Ahead of their shows at the Blues Fest, Mr Dreadlocks Franti and Spearhead join all the super sa-weet sideshows to do aa gig at The Palace this coming Tuesday April 19. Mr Boombox Franti will be there with, well if not bells then at least his headdress (ie. beanie) and may even “groove” out a little bit. “Groovy”. Is what we’ll all be saying while we do our own modest amounts of grooving. Between the usual massive amounts of well deserved Franti-love. Not to be confused for any reason with anti-love.
Along with Mr Grinning Franti and Spearhead are the tremendous Kim Churchill and Rav Thomas, providing some early evening sounds.
