This year will be the 12th Melbourne Underground Film Festival, and entries are open now.
MUFF has survived criticism, condemnation, censorship, public outrage, police raids, and stalkers, yet it’s still miraculously standing, and is back for more trouble in 2011.
Wednesday June 15 is the deadline to get your film entries in, and the festival will come to life in late August.

If August is too long to wait for all you indie cinema brethrens out there, starting in May will be the new MUFF spin-off event, specifically focusing on the wonderful genres of horror and science fiction that we all love so much. It’s name? Bloodfest Fantastique!
Entries for this blood and gore geek-fest close on Friday March 18, and you can enter your film even if it has played at MUFF over the past two years.
