Hailing from The Dandenong Ranges, GERARD. J. HOLMES is bringing his soulful voice, beautifully crafted songs and a cheeky attitude to the city. Accompanied by his 4 piece band performing intimate songs with a massive sound, Holmes is a powerful, rocking, indie singer/songwriter full of soulfully expressed music that will appeal and relate to any crowd that knows how to have a good time.
Supporting on the night are members from garage rock/blues band ZEN MONKEE ‘Chris Beltrame’ and ‘Anthony Beltrame’, playing a stripped back acoustic set of songs off their debut album. Alongside them is Melbourne’s own Indie/Country/Folk artist KYLE BREW. Raised on a diet of influences ranging from Lightnin’ Hopkins to Big Bill Broonzy, Kyle has a voice that is distinctive, rich and beyond his years. At 24 years of age and four EPs under his belt, his voice possesses a turn of phrase both honest and forthright.
