Put together by a collective of artists frustrated by the Arts Minister’s decision to slash over $100 million from independent arts funding, the exhibition will “paint the picture of what will turn into a reality” by reimagining classic works of art with Brandis’ face. George Brandis as the Mona Lisa? Yep, you got it.
Along with the exhibition, there will also be information and resources on what can be done to fight the cuts as well as drinks and live music by Sons of Jims, Anthony Young and Dada Ono.
