This local gem's February program caters to every kind of vibe. 

Nestled away on the frenzied Gilbert Road, Merri Bar offers the perfect reprieve from a long day’s work. With a welcoming community, great eats and fantastic vibes, it’s become a sanctuary for northside locals. 

As if you couldn’t love them any more, the beloved pub has hit the ground running in 2025, keeping spirits high as the year already begins to slip away and February rolls in. With a month chock-full of exciting events, dropping by this Preston haven is sure to make your February all the more enjoyable.

Whether it’s nights of laughter over a few pints with your mates or a stellar lineup of live music, Merri Bar promises something for everyone this month. 

And let’s not forget the legendary drink deals –weekday happy hour means you can grab $10 pints from 3-6 pm, while weekend deals bring $12 spritzes on Saturday afternoons and $12 Bloody Marys all Sunday long. With a setup this good, Merri Bar makes it almost too easy to have a good time.

Running on the first Thursday of every month, this event is a long-standing Merri Bar tradition. Showcasing a wonderful selection of northside talent, the evening offers the chance for emerging artists to shine. With a top-notch sound system and a charming ambience, this is a perfect spot to perform or simply enjoy the show.
