The esteemed frontman of The Drones and Tropical Fuck Storm will play shows at the Theatre Royal and The Forum.
Going down just a few weeks from now, Melbourne music luminary Gareth Liddiard has announced a few solo shows going down in Melbourne, and just a short dash down the road.
Castlemaine’s Theatre Royal and The Forum will be the hosts of Liddiard’s unbridled weirdity, where the seminal Drones and Tropical Fuck Storm frontman will look to play tracks from his vast back catalogue.

The performances will be taking place on Thursday March 11 at the Theatre Royal and Saturday March 13 at The Forum, and knowing Liddiard’s popularity, punters are going to have to be super fast to snap up tickets.
What’s more, the shows will see Liddiard team up with venerable drummer Jim White, of Dirty Three, Xylouris White and Venom P. Stinger fame. White is considered one of Australia’s greatest-ever drummers, so adding his virtuosic flair to Liddiard’s sheer madness is sure to make for something spectacular.
“i’m (sic) doing some shows with Jim White in March,” Liddiard said in an Instagram post. “Jim is the best. we’ll be playing hundreds of my smash hits. dont (sic) know how its gonna sound yet but it’ll be mad and rad.”
