Ninajirachi's girl EDM is a title that's since ballooned into its own aesthetic and genre shorthand.
Such is the industry weight of the Central Coast artist, who came up through Nina Las Vegas’s NLV Records, stacking singles, EPs and mixtapes — also the 2022 mixtape Second Nature, the club-focused 4×4 in 2023, her Kota Banks team-up True North.
Then came the debut album proper, I Love My Computer, in August 2025, which cleaned up
But live is where all that fastidious studio work gets happily dismantled. Her recent Forum outing on 17 July, part of the sold-out Dark Crystal V tour, was a one-woman show engineered for a packed, heaving room rather than a quiet listen — louder, quicker, and spliced together from covers, remixes and loose works-in-progress.

It really is computer music, self-produced top to bottom, with Nina calling the machine her instrument and reckoning she wouldn’t be herself without it.
Girl EDM took opening duties, which tracks. Battery Death, one of the record’s more gut-punchy moments, got a run, alongside the euphoric All I Am. The Porter Robinson connection — she’s toured the country beside him — surfaced twice: a flip of his Perfect Pinterest Garden reworked with underscores, and an unreleased joint billed as WannaCry.
Elsewhere she tipped the hat to homegrown dance history with an Alison Wonderland cover in Heaven, twisted her own Crush Me into something new, and sent Fuck My Computer out as the closer before it boomeranged back in the encore via the Frost Children remix. Titles like CSIRAC, Hypervisor and Infohazard keep the whole thing wired to that terminally-online, brain-as-hard-drive world she’s built — record and rave running on the same operating system, even if one’s mixed to the millimetre and the other’s built to blow the doors off.
Want proof of the toolkit? Ableton handed her the official demo project baked into Live, about the biggest tick of approval a DAW can give a producer. She keeps collaborators tight: girl EDM (disc 1) was mixed by Wave Racer and mastered by Suture Mastering, while the album carries a single proper guest — daine on It’s You, rounded out with guitar from Darcy Baylis. The cut Infohazard, meanwhile, sprouted at daine’s 2024 writing camp.
Beyond home soil she’s racked up Lollapalooza, EDC and Laneway slots, headline runs across three continents and a co-headline US tour with umru, plus remix and commission work touching Hatsune Miku, Deadmau5 and massive brands.
