Mostly Mozart – Mannheim to Paris

Kick off the month (and the Mostly Mozart series) with a bright morning session from the Australian National Academy of Music crew, directed by Carla Blackwood.
They’ll dive into Mozart’s beloved Quintet in E-flat alongside other chamber gems uniting winds and strings – elegant, uplifting, and exactly what you need for a classy start to April. Plus, there will also be a complimentary morning tea starting at 10am, offering coffee and sweet and savoury bites.

Get ready for some proper mind-bending magic as acclaimed musician Josh Cohen reworks Radiohead classics into solo piano gold that would make Thom Yorke proud.
After going viral on YouTube with his inventive and animated covers, Cohen is bringing it all to the stage, complete with an improvised audiovisual spectacle by Joshua Batty of MindBuffer. It’ll be a fresh take on the iconic tunes, perfect for fans wanting something intimate yet epic with Recital Centre’s killer acoustics.

Award-winning pianist and composer Kym Alexandra Dillon is launching her debut album VENDESTINY in style in the Primrose Potter Salon.
Expect virtuosic, expressive playing that mixes her original works with influences – a real celebration of homegrown talent pushing boundaries in contemporary classical and beyond. She’ll also be playing pieces from two of her biggest sources of inspiration, Franz Liszt and Keith Jarrett, as well as the new album in full.
