Dark-pop autoharpist Georgia Knight is heading back to The Tote for a special headline show in March.

The Naarm-born, sometimes Aotearoa-based artist has been on a serious tear lately, with her debut album Beanpole earning international attention since its independent release in 2025.

Now Georgia Knight is back with a reworked version of single Desire, featuring additional production from Ōtautahi-based musician and producer Chris Wethey, and a fresh Melbourne date to go with it.

Georgia Knight

  • 7 March — Golden Plains Festival, Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre, VIC (sold out)
  • 9 March — WOMAD Festival, Botanic Park, Adelaide (tickets here)
  • 14 March — The Tote Hotel, Collingwood, VIC w/ Cloud Ice 9 and DONT (tickets here)

Stay up to date with what’s happening in and around Melbourne here.

It’s shaping up to be a massive stretch for Georgia Knight. She’s set to make her Supernatural Amphitheatre debut at Golden Plains on 7 March, performing alongside Basement Jaxx, Cut Copy, Ty Segall and Water From Your Eyes across the sold-out Labour Day weekend. From there she heads to Adelaide for WOMAD on 9 March, sharing a bill with Grace Jones and Baker Boy, before the Tote date rounds out her Australian run.

Originally put out as the first taste of Beanpole, Desire has been given a new coat of paint that reflects where Georgia Knight’s sound is headed. The updated take arrives alongside news that she’ll return to The Tote on 14 March with support from Cloud Ice 9 and DONT, a brand new musical project. It follows her sold-out set at Howler back in November.

The momentum doesn’t stop domestically either. Georgia Knight will head to the UK in May for a showcasing run at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton, one of the music industry’s most prominent discovery events. Known for composing and performing on autoharp, her blend of dark pop, trip-hop textures and cinematic synth layers has connected with audiences and tastemakers well beyond Australian shores since Beanpole landed.

The reworked Desire is available to stream and download now.
