Bacharach and Beyond

Jack Howard is back at Memo with his beloved Bacharach and Beyond show, serving up a lush afternoon of classic tunes and retro charm. You’ll hear all the greats performed at their best: Say a Little Prayer, Alfie, The Look of Love and more, plus deep cuts from Jimmy Webb, The Carpenters and even Elvis. With the Michael sisters on vocals, flute and violin, and a full band of top-tier players, it’s a swoony, soulful ride through pop’s golden era. Last time it was a full house and a proper singalong sesh, so don’t sleep on this one.
A Boogie Woogie Super Show

Three pianos. Six hands. Thirty flying fingers. Whoosh! Damon Smith, Ezra Lee and Henri Herbert are joining forces for a night of boogie-woogie, blues and electrifying rock ’n’ roll. All three are heavyweights in their own right. Damon’s a Music Victoria Award-winner, Ezra’s a rock’n’roll showman through and through and Henri’s a world-class piano shredder with Jim Jones Revue cred. Together? It’s pure piano mayhem of blistering solos, pounding rhythms and a whole lotta swagger. This is a rare chance to see three of the finest in the game push each other to the limit of virtuosity.

Will you come to the Land Down Under? They’re back and they’re bringing the biggest Aussie bangers from the late 70s and 80s. We’re talking Midnight Oil, INXS, Kylie, AC/DC, Olivia, Barnesy, the works. It’s all the hits that put us on the global stage, played by an all-star crew of musos who’ve toured with the nation’s best for decades. It’s nostalgia. It’s history. They’re the true Australian anthems we honour.

Australia’s Roots Music King Andy Baylor serves up a laid-back show of country blues, western swing, Cajun fiddle tunes, gospel, boogie woogie and original songs packed with soul. Joining Andy are Sarah Carroll on vocals, Professor Ed Bates on pedal steel, jazz great Steve Grant on accordion and a few more special guests. Like a perfect gumbo (so he says), Andy blends these styles into a rich, flavorful mix that’s as captivating as it is comforting.
Riff Raff

Naarm’s own down and dirty AC/DC tribute, Riff Raff, will transport you right back to the rock ’n’ roll glory days of Bon Scott. It’s a crew that have been lighting up stages since 2023, with killer local players like 6v6s frontman Willie J, drummer Callum Leavey, bassist Seb Robertson, Hot Machine guitarist Sarsha Marsden and Jeff Barrett on lead. They’ve sold out shows and hit the road on nationwide tours, but they keep it raw and fun, and don’t take themselves too seriously.

Yeehaw, it’s a night of real western stars. Southside Sounds Vintage and Custom Guitars with Elwood Canal Fest present an epic double headline night of local alt-country and Americana. Lachlan Bryan and the Wildes are back at MEMO Music Hall, celebrating their upcoming album with a set full of honest and powerful songs blending Americana, country, southern rock and folk into their distinct sound. They’ve been busy touring the US and Europe and this is their long-awaited return. Hana & Jessie-Lee’s Bad Habits will join, fresh from the festival circuit and celebrating the first anniversary of their award-winning album, along with Music Victoria nominee, Patrick Wilson.

If you came to the last Singsongs, you know it was a full-blown party. Soaring voices, choruses and clapping, smiles all ‘round. If you didn’t? Well, now’s the time to be swept up in the magic yourself. Hosted by the charismatic Gary Brown (LandDownUnder Band) with keys wizard Scott Griffiths, this is a night to lose yourself in song. Worried you won’t remember the words? They’ve got the lyrics up on the big screen. But you’ll probably know these iconic hits from the likes of Queen, Abba, David Bowie, Oasis, Fleetwood Mac and more. Practice those scales, it’s your time to shine.

Get ready for a massive arvo of blues-soaked riffs, Southern swagger and world-class jams. Geoff Achison & The Souldiggers hit the Memo stage with their signature mix of deep groove, slick funk and fiery blues, led by one of Australia’s true guitar greats. They’ll be joined by Twiggs, the powerhouse seven-piece tribute to the Allman Brothers Band. Think, duelling guitars, big rhythms, soaring keys and deep-cut jams. This double bill is your Sunday sorted.
Amy Winehouse Resurrected

Amy Winehouse gets the comeback she deserved in this bold, funny and surprisingly moving tribute. After hearing Tony Bennett’s kicked the bucket, she storms the pearly gates, ready to charm him into one more duet. She’s back, she’s loud and she’s not done singing yet. Led by powerhouse Alexis Fishman as Winehouse and a smoking live band, this show brings the big hair, the big attitude and all your favourite songs (plus a few surprises). It’s a wild ride, from cheeky (and a bit foul-mouthed) to soulful and gut-punching.
