It will be the Scottish band’s fourth visit to Australia, following past performances at Laneway, Splendour In The Grass and Woodford Folk Festival.
Frightened Rabbit was created by art graduate Scott Hutchison back in 2003 and since then the band have been making poetry out of music. Hutchison’s songwriting has been commened for their poignancy and realistic portrayal of life, including break-ups and the one-too-many Christmas drinks present on their third album The Winter of Mixed Drinks.
Pedestrian Verse, Frightened Rabbit’s fourth LP, will be released later this February.
