After he amazed crowds at BIGSOUND earlier this month and topped multiple best-of lists, Didirri is set to play packed houses all around the country.
His latest track – the massively successful ‘Jude’ – has been followed up by a new video arriving as the second single to come from his debut EP, recorded and produced in Melbourne by Hayden Calnin.
Didirri describes ‘Jude’ as being born out of a harrowing experience.
“Jude came out of me on the eve of a friend contemplating their own life,” he says. “It is a reflection of finding myself in a similar mind to this at times. Feeling that there is no way out. And knowing that these thoughts are chemical and will pass and hearing those words ‘take a sad song and make it better’ and hoping that you’ll be there after all of your thoughts have passed.”
