FREEDANCE is a conscious, embodied, freestyle dance practice, a safe space that is open to all. No phone / no conversation zone. This is an opportunity to move, breathe, be in the moment, process emotion, shift energy, express creativity, connect with nature and build community. FREEDANCE is centred around diverse music to encourage diverse movement. Expect a broad yet cohesive selection of tunes, from techno to world music, indigenous to hip hop, bass to ambient, classical to psytrance, jazz to reggae, avant-garde to daggy-as-fuck, electronica to funk, folk to disco, new age to blues, Elvis to Aphex Twin.

FREEDANCE is held on the sacred country of the Wurundjeri-Woi Wurrung of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of this land who have never ceded their sovereignty. We acknowledge their ancestors, past, present and future. Always was always will be.
