Four acclaimed singer-songwriters are uniting for an evening of music and stories this week

Four of Australia's most captivating singer-songwriters are joining forces for a special evening of music and stories at Brunswick Ballroom.

The showcase will feature Skyscraper Stan and The Commission Flats, fresh off the release of their third album, Those Were the Days. Stan has built a devoted cult following through his masterful storytelling, easy lyrical style, inventive arrangements, and deft genre experimentation.

Joining Stan for this special evening of musical storytelling are three other acclaimed artists, each bringing their unique style to the Brunswick Ballroom stage.

Dinner & A Showcase lineup:

  • Skyscraper Stan and The Commission Flats – fresh off their third album, Those Were the Days
  • Patrick Wilson – the “twang assassin” bringing authentic electrified country rock ‘n’ roll
  • Liam Wright – folk-rock hooks with his dynamic five-piece band
  • Ruby Jones – searing vocals with songs that delve into heartbreak, loss and redemption

Patrick Wilson, known as “the twang assassin,” will deliver his authentic brand of electrified country rock ‘n’ roll. Wilson’s performances have earned him a reputation as one of the country’s most compelling live acts in the genre.

Liam Wright brings his folk-rock hooks and dynamic five-piece band to the showcase. Wright’s performances are characterised by raw emotion while still encouraging audiences to nod along to his catchy melodies.

Completing the line-up is Ruby Jones, whose searing vocals and songwriting delve into heartbreak, loss and redemption with stirring intensity. Her powerful performances have made her a standout in the Australian music scene.

The event offers several ticket options for music lovers. General admission tickets are $26.11, while premium reserved seating including a meal from the custom Good Booking Menu costs $53.65. There’s also a “social table” option at the same price for those looking to make new friends while enjoying the show.

Premium ticket holders will receive floor service and drink table service throughout the performance, allowing them to enjoy the music without missing a moment. The kitchen will be serving from The Ballroom Menu until approximately 9pm for those who wish to grab a bite to eat.
