Ripper’s long and winding career was the inspiration for the 2001 film Rock Star starring Mark Wahlberg and Jennifer Aniston. He was once a Judas Priest superfan before working his way up to being the band’s lead singer after the band split ways with Rob Halford.

The Grammy-nominated artist will be bringing a top-notch backing band to his Aussie shows, composed of members from Frankie’s World Famous House Band, Harlott, and Bad Moon Born.

Presented by the hardcore behemoth Utopia Records, the two shows will give fans a chance to see the metal legend up close and personal in two intimate venues. In Sydney, he’ll be supported by Bastardizer, Plastic Bath, Dreamteam DJs, and BARB and in Melbourne he will be joined by MANIAXE, Flitcraft, and DJ Ash Lightning.

Tickets to the Australian shows are expected to sell fest.
