Sadults EP party at Cactus Room

Indie-punk rockers Sadults are celebrating their wacky new EP with a coming-of-age party this Friday March 22. Joining Sadults  for one hell of a show is a lineup of CHESS, The Oh Balters, Slippy Mane and Lalíc. Catch their chaotic tunes at the Cactus Room from 7.30pm. Tickets are $7 at the door. Agent 37 at Bombay Rock

Agent 37 are bringing their nerdy, Ramones-inspired tunes to Bombay Rock on Friday March 22. They’ll be joined by a bunch of local bands to launch their newest single ‘Dynamo’. Head over at 8pm for a high-energy night of local punk. Free entry. More info here.

Checkerboard at the Royal Oak

Formed in 1968, the legendary Checkerboard (formally Checkerboard Lounge) are bringing their world-class talent to Royal Oak this Sunday March 24. Catch their electric and raw improvisations from 4pm to 6pm, and watch with awe as they explore the intricacies of blues, rock and soul. Free entry. More info here.

Blue Howl at Bar 303

Indie folk-rock band Blue Howl are launching their funky new single ‘Smile When You’re Sad’ at Bar 303 this Friday March 22. Catch their captivating tunes and heartfelt ballads from 8pm along with special guests Pat Devlin and Jimmy and Paige. Tickets are $10. More info here.

Tropical Fuck Storm at the Corner Hotel
