Come for a day of organic and sustainable fun at Fest La Frog festival this Saturday in Brunswick. It’s sure to be a riot with headliners The Red Eyes.

Fest La Frog sustainable and organic music and arts festival is the place to be this Saturday 9 April from 11am.

The festival proudly boasts a day of eco bliss as festival organisers have confirmed a fun filled day with a bunch of environmentally friendly initiatives including vego discounts, sustainability workshops, recycled art, solar brewed beers and everyone is encouraged to come by push bike or public transport.

The festival is being held in Brunswick for the first time this year as the usual site has unfortunately been struck down by Melbourne’s unseasonal wet summer (think plague-like mosquito levels and muddy terrain). Never fear, organisers have found an amazing new site at CERES Community Environment Park in Brunswick East, situated at Cnr Roberts & Stewart Streets.

The musical delinghts featured on the day include headliners The Red Eyes, along with Rapskallion and Hugo & The Treats. Be sure to catch The Red Eyes before they take off for the Byron Bay Bluesfest.

Getting there: Tram 96 towards Brunswick, get off at stop 27 (Blyth St/Nicholson St). It’s the last stop!

Price: FREE entry before midday on Saturday 9 April. $20 per person midday onwards, $15 concession ($2 vegetarian discount). A family friendly event with kids 12 and under free.
