Falls Festival adds new acts to its already stacked lineup

The gift that keeps on giving.

As if New Year’s wasn’t looking promising enough, Falls Festival has just added a handful of local and international acts to its already huge lineup.

Most notably, the festival has announced the arrival of US rap icon Playboi Carti, who’ll be making an appearance at each of the four events. Touring nationally alongside the Atlanta-based rapper will be Aussie rockers Bad//Dreems, Montaigne, Holy Holy and Wave Racer.

A number of stellar performers have also been added to individual capital city events. In Byron Bay, punters will be treated to the sounds of Thundamentals, Cosmo’s Midnight and Concrete Surfers. Over in Lorne, The Jungle Giants, Lime Cordiale and Kwame are slated to take the stage. Marion Bay will play host to Illy, Luca Brasi and Kat Edwards, while Fremantle is blessed with Sampa the Great and Sly Withers.

The newly-announced acts join an already stacked lineup including Vampire Weekend, Amyl and the Sniffers, Halsey, John Farnham and more.

Falls Festival will be held in Byron Bay, Lorne, Marion Bay and Fremantle over the New Year’s Eve period. Tickets are on sale now via the festival website.
