In addition to an exhilarating lineup, Falls Festival has dropped its astounding arts program, which will definitely pull you away from the main stage.
Byron festivalgoers will bear witness to La Henge, an extravagant display of arts and culture, featuring local bands, art installations and rock’n’roll yoga. If you need to blow off a little steam, just cover yourself in boxes and whack your mate over the head with a cardboard tube at this year’s Boxwars battlefield.
The program also includes a meme-themed fancy-dress event for its first day. In the spirit of packing lightly, maybe opt out of a moth costume and go for a nice yodelling cowboy outfit instead. If confidence isn’t your strength, the Baby One More Time workshop will get you channelling your inner Britney Spears in no time.
The festival’s 2019 lineup, announced earlier on this year, is jam-packed with incredible local and international acts, including Anderson .Pask and the Free Nationals, CHVRCHES, Vance Joy, Toto, Amy Shark, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, and more.
