Face The Music reveal a massive second lineup and location

Having already announced a plethora of artists and professionals – including the likes of Ariel Pink, Chippy Nonstop, Marky Ramone, Mallrat, Monica Tan and triple j’s Nick Findlay – the second round has revealed that a plethora of industry movers and shakers will be gracing the the event’s new home at St Paul’s Cathedral. That’s right – Face The Music takes over the Melbourne Music Week Hub itself, for a series of talks, keynotes, panels and performances.

This year’s event shall see the likes of Face The Music alumni and Beat Magazine’s own legendary Music Editor Gloria Brancatisano, industry titan and cofounder of VUT (the biggest music association in Germany) Michael Schuster, Creative Director of Studio Moniker Roel Wouters, 15-year industry vet and Latitude Festival booker Lucy Wood, 3RRR’s Breaking and Entering duo Simon Winkler and Lauren Taylor, critically-acclaimed feminist singer/songwriter Ali Barter, triple j’s Home & Hosed host Dom Alessio and lauded BIGSOUND Levi’s Music Prize winner Stella Donnelly.

Sounds huge? We’re not even close to finished, yet. Musical maverick Kirin J Callinan, style icon, DJ and music journalist Kish Lal, socio-political rapper L-FRESH the LION, managerial giant and APRA AMCOS Lighthouse Award recipient Charlotte Abroms, fast-rising Wergaia singer/songwriter Alice Skye, manager and The Hills Are Alive Group co-founder Aidan McLaren and Parlour Gigs creator Matt Walters will all be there – with even more yet to be announced.

This is gonna a big one, folks.
