As one of the oldest and largest theatre companies in Australia, in recent years we have enjoyed both artistic and financial success along with commissioning and building a new theatre complex and company headquarters.
With the recent appointment of our new Artistic Director, Brett Sheehy, we are ready to realise a new strategic vision for the Company that will further expand the scope of our activities. Building on strong foundations and working with a dedicated Board and staff, we are looking to appoint a new Executive Director who will work with the Artistic Director to lead MTC with vision, tenacity, diligence and imagination.
Key requirements for the role are: significant experience leading and managing an organisation in the arts and cultural sector; superior communication, advocacy and stakeholder management skills; commercial nous; high-level knowledge of government, commercial and philanthropic funding; and most crucially a passion for the performing arts and theatre.
