Eminem is dishing out ‘mom’s spaghetti’ for health care workers

Words by Kate Streader

Lose yourself in this wholesome news.

Eminem has reportedly donated 400 meals to Henry Ford Hospital and Detroit Receiving Hospital through his Marshall Mathers Foundation. The delicacy? ‘Mom’s spaghetti’, of course.

The rapper’s famed pasta reference from his 2002 track ‘Lose Yourself’ has sparked endless memes and even saw Eminem launching a pop-up restaurant dedicated to spaghetti in 2017. Now, he’s using the wholesome homecooked-style meal to support health care workers.

According to Eminem’s manager Paul Rosenberg, he’ll be dishing up spag-bol to those on the frontline fighting COVID-19 for the next few weeks.

The staff at Henry Ford Hospital seemed touched by the delivery, posting a photo of the meals on Instagram and thanking the rapper.

“Our #HealthcareHeroes “lost themselves” in the delicious Mom’s Spaghetti donated by Detroit’s very own, @eminem. Thank you for providing a special meal for our team members!” they wrote.
