Em Rusciano announces The Ballroom Sessions, a stripped-back residency at Brunswick Ballroom this July.
The multi-talented performer is trading her usual high-production spectaculars for something more personal and intimate. Em Rusciano: The Ballroom Sessions promises an evening of raw music, comedy and whatever spontaneous moments arise on the night.
Rusciano, known for her fearless honesty and powerhouse vocals, describes herself as perimenopausal AF and tired, but still a showgirl at heart. This residency represents the intimate, stripped-back performance she’s always wanted to do – just her, her band, surprise guests and a room full of understanding audience members.

The writer, singer and comedian promises no glitter cannons or choreographed dance breaks – though some interpretive dance remains a possibility. Instead, audiences can expect unfiltered music, laughs and the unpredictable energy that has made her sell-out national stand-up tours so popular.
The venue capacity is significantly smaller than Rusciano’s usual shows, making this an unusually intimate opportunity to see the performer in her element. The Brunswick Ballroom setting adds to the personal atmosphere, with its accessible venue featuring reserved seating options and meal service throughout the performance.
Premium ticket holders receive reserved seating at a table plus one complimentary meal from the venue’s main menu, with QR code ordering available for additional drinks, cheese boards and desserts during the show. General admission operates on a first-in-best-dressed seating allocation.
