Elon Musk, the bizarre genius/mad scientist that he is, has quite literally launched off his most ambitious project yet.
His SpaceX program has successfully launched its flagship Falcon Heavy rocket into space for the first time. Eventually, it’ll launch a Tesla space playing David Bowie’s seminal track, ‘Life on Mars’.
If all goes to plan, it’ll go into orbit around Mars — and be out in space for over a billion years.
The future is weird.
