Australian electronic music powerhouse The Presets will headline a six-hour musical extravaganza at the historic Portsea Hotel on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula this January, marking a highlight of the venue's summer series.
The Presets, comprising Julian Hamilton and Kim Moyes, will take to the stage on Saturday 25 January, joining forces with Dan Whitford of Cut Copy for a special DJ set that promises to transport audiences back to the heyday of Australian electronic music.
The performance, scheduled during the January long weekend, will feature the ARIA award-winning act’s signature high-energy sound that helped define Australia’s dance music landscape in the late 2000s.

Supporting acts include Dan Cut Copy DJ Set, bringing their characteristic dreamy synth-pop sounds to the coastal venue, while emerging artist Baitzy will open the evening’s proceedings.
The event forms part of the Portsea Summer Series, which showcases both established national acts and local talent at one of the peninsula’s most iconic venues.
With its stunning coastal location, the Portsea Hotel provides a dramatic backdrop for what organisers are billing as “a night of unstoppable beats, electrifying performances, and coastal vibes.”
The show begins at 5pm, allowing revellers to dance as the sun sets over Port Phillip Bay. Strict capacity limits are in place, with organisers advising early ticket purchase to avoid disappointment. The event is restricted to those aged 18 and over
This performance adds to The Presets’ impressive legacy, which includes six ARIA awards, APRA’s Songwriters of the Year honour, and a catalogue of remixes for international artists including Kings of Leon and Lenny Kravitz.
