Electronic music festival Electric Island is making its Melbourne debut in 2026, joining beachside parties across three cities.

Kicking off at Adelaide’s Glenelg Beach on 11 April, Electric Island will venture to Melbourne’s RIVA in St Kilda and Perth’s Cottesloe Beach for two-day weekenders across 18 and 19 April.

American electronic titan Armand Van Helden will sweep all three cities with his unrivalled DJ sets. Across his three-decade career, the Grammy-nominated producer has become one of house music’s most cherished names with club and Top 40 hits like My My My, Barbara Streisand and I Want Your Soul. As one-half of widely beloved dance duo Duck Sauce, he’s performed prestigious stages across the globe.

Fellow headliner Above & Beyond will hit Melbourne and Perth’s respective weekenders. Forming in 2000, the Grammy-nominated trio are behind internationally-renowned radio show Group Therapy and have shaped a catalogue of iconic dance anthems. With brand new album Bigger Than All Of Us in their arsenal, they’re returning to their wide Australian fanbase after touring the world’s most illustrious venues, including Sydney Opera House.

Flight Facilities (DJ Set) join Armand Van Helden on all dates. Since emerging with celebrated global anthem Crave You in 2010, the award-winning duo have consistently crafted feel-good soundtracks with cult hits like Clair de Lune and Sunshine. They’ve performed the biggest stages from Splendour in the Grass to Coachella and Glastonbury.

Born in Australia in 2016, Electric Island has evolved to become a necessary figure in the Australian dance music scene. Over the years it’s hosted some of the world’s most adored names including Fatboy Slim, Eric Prydz, Jamie Jones, DJ EZ and Craig David. After selling 25,000 tickets in 2025 with Electric Island and Electric Warehouse parties, the sandy and sun-drenched festival is back fusing cutting edge world-class music with a dip of nostalgia.

Electric Island promoter Damian Gelle shared that next year’s run expands into three states with five open-air shows across some of Australia’s finest shorelines, including the debut at Melbourne’s lush Riviera Beach Club in St Kilda.

Additional special guests are still to be announced across all dates. Presale tickets drop 8am local time Wednesday 22 October, with general on-sale following at 8am local time Thursday 23 October.
