Britain’s grim, steely rockers return with a densely packed single
Britain’s grim, steely rockers return with a densely packed single, full of chugging guitars and cascading piano lines. Guy Garvey wails in his opiate way, weaving through the music with a slightly threatening, slightly disoriented, sometimes angelic air, singing about laying his bones in neat little rows. This is big, dark mood music by a band at the top of their game.
