Working alongside other Arts and Culture team members you will be responsible for the end to end coordination of the event. This includes, but is not limited to, the booking of venues, finalising the competition schedule, developing promotional material, assisting with the management of sponsors, managing registration details and distributing prizes to competition winners. You will also be responsible for effectively supervising and coordinating casual staff and volunteers who assist with the delivery of the event.
You will have exceptional communication skills to enable you to work effectively across a variety of community members and stakeholders. Having a background in music performance and/or education and experience in event management you will have the ability to work simultaneously on a variety of tasks and within tight timeframes. This appointment is subject to a successful Police Check and Working with Children Check.
