The global superstar sparked excitement among Australian fans after responding to a comment on his social media platform during his current European Mathematics Tour. The 34-year-old musician has been documenting his travel adventures on TikTok throughout May, attracting attention from fans worldwide requesting appearances in their locations.
The tour speculation began when Ed Sheeran posted content from his recent Madrid shows on the platform. Among the numerous fan comments, one Australian follower asked directly about his plans to return Down Under, inquiring how coming back to Australia soon sounded to the artist.

The timing suggests these Australian shows could launch a new touring cycle for the Lego House singer. His current tour, The +−=÷× Tour, is scheduled to conclude this year, creating space for fresh material and performances. Ed Sheeran plans to release his new album Play on 12 September 2025, which would provide plenty of content for Australian audiences.
